Hi everyone,

My name is Mina. I have established Your Modesty on my own and I run everything by myself; yes, even this website! 

I moved to the UK from Turkey in November 2021. It was a brand-new experience for me. I knew I would eventually start up my own business but it was only a piece of thought at first. Gradually, I started making friends, got used to right-hand driving, and most importantly I have settled down and adapted to life in Britain.

I launched the company Your Modesty LTD in July 2022 and bought the clothes you see on this website in August 2022. So, I invested all my savings in this new baby. I see my company as my baby: She needs me to look after her, I need to feed her to keep her alive, I really should take her seriously and take care of her. 

I am really excited to make this happen since I have never thought that I would be my own boss one day. Previously, I worked as a book editor in a couple of publishing houses, as a Turkish tutor, as an English tutor, and took place in a non-profit organisation but what I am doing right now is something completely different.

With Your Modesty, I am here to give you the opportunity to reach high-quality modest clothes made in Turkey. After my move to the UK, I realised some women have trouble finding longer dresses, or loose trousers to combine with the tops. My market research has shown that most of the clothes bought online are brought from China and they are generally 100% polyester.

Clothes are the most personal essential needs of a person. They touch the body, and thus have a direct impact on the person’s physical character; not to mention that they can also have a say on your emotions. Therefore, the fabric has to be natural and of good quality. I don't claim that the clothes I'm selling here are all 100% cotton, but as you could see from the product descriptions, I mainly provide cotton fabrics as it’s almost impossible to exclude synthetic materials in this sector.

Most of our products gave a high rate of cotton and the usage of polyester is of a high-quality one. Those who have purchased from my store surely know how much I care about their comfort with top-quality fabrics.

I basically sell what I would wear myself and you would never find a piece in our collection that looks nice in photos but horrible in real life.  

Our prices are quite moderate compared to the others. I want these lovely pieces to be reachable to all women who want to look good in comfortable outfits.
